Japanese crafts created by Studio Ghibli and Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten with artisans from around the world.
It is made from 5 layers of Kayaori, one of Nara Prefecture's special products and traditional industries.

The day I set off on a wonderful adventure. To capture this curiosity, we created a tool that will allow Totoro and his friends to watch over him. Enjoy spending time with Totoro with your exploration buddy who will make you lose track of time.

Each illustration is inspired by a watercolor painting and has been newly created for each dish towel.

Not only can you use it as a dish towel at home, but you can also use it as a towel when you go out.

``Kayaori'' absorbs well and dries quickly.

The Nara craft ``Kayaori'' is a thin, open-woven fabric used for mosquito nets that was introduced to Japan during the Nara period and is said to allow wind to pass through but keep mosquitoes out. The dish towel is made of 5 layers of cotton kaya-weave sewn together and becomes softer the more you use it.
